
IMPACT Mission: To conduct translational research that improves the health of sexual minority people and studies that increase understanding of the development of sexual orientation and gender identity. To increase the capacity of the LGBT community to conduct health research and translate findings into intervention. To become a leader in LGBT health and development research, with a particular focus on youth.
Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The IMPACT program accepts UIC students to gain research experience through the Psychology 396, 397, 398 courses. If you are interested in registering for 396 with Dr. Mustanski, please complete the application below and email it to him as an attachment. Except under unusual circumstances, students will only be allowed to register for 3 credits (9 hours per week).
