Required Materials:

MyMathLab: This is a computer based learning software. It is to be  purchased at the MyMathLab website. You will do your homework and take all Quizzes on  MyMathLab. You can also view video clips for many sections in the text. In addition, the pages of the textbook are also online at the MyMathLab website.

Calculator: A Calculator is required. A Texas Instruments graphing calculator is recommended

Optional Materials:

Text : Finite Mathematics & Its Applications (9th ed)  by   Goldstein, Schneider, & Siegel

To be purchased if you want a hard copy of the text.

There will be two hourly exams worth 100 points each. No makeup exams will be given. If you are unable to take one exam, the score will be replaced by one-half of the score obtained on the 200 point final exam. If you take both exams, one-half of the score on the final exam will replace your lowest test score if doing so improves your situation. There will also be 12 quizzes worth 10 points each for a total of 120 points. The quizzes will be taken on MyMathLab. Homework will be done on MyMathLab and will be worth 62 points. The Final Exam will be worth 200 points.

                                  Course Grades will be given as follows:

                                                  90% - 100%       A

                                                  80% - 89%         B

                                                  70% - 79%         C

                                                  60% - 69%         D
