This course will provide an introduction to central themes and methods in western philosophy. We will consider a number of topics, including the existence of god, skepticism, and the possibility of free will. Readings will come from a variety of historical and contemporary sources. |

PHIL202: Philosophy of Psychology:
This course will cover classic and contemporary perspectives on the mind-body problem. We will use these to evaluate various theories and methods of scientific psychology, and their implications for understanding our ordinary, commonsense conceptions of the mental.
