-Are there any relevant articles?

-Can you find any at the UIC main library?

-If so, xerox the title page of a relevant article

-Search Historical Abstracts

-Are there any relevant articles on Lenin?

-If so, print out the relevant abstracts

-Can you find one relevant article at UIC main library?

-If so, xerox first page of one

-Figure out how to search for dissertations

-If you find any relevant dissertations, bring the bibliographical data to class

-Are there any relevant materials in Special Collections?

-If so, name one or two

-Which reference materials would yield the most valuable information about the revoluion?

-Xerox the first page of a relevant text

-Find a map of St. Petersburg, preferably showing the street layout in 1917
