About The Circle Unleashed:

One of McQuay's purposes for this book was to highlight and show minority characters in the role of heroes, performing the same heroic deeds as the established traditional white super heroes such as Superman and Batman.  This would allow readers of various ethnic origins to be able to enjoy seeing characters that they could identify with performing these heroic deeds.

Plot Synopsis:

The Circle Unleashed is the story of an one hundred and sixty year four year old ex-slave named John,  who after the civil war is kidnapped by extra terrestrials.  John eventually discovers the aliens plans to invade and enslave all of humankind, John escapes back to Earth and assembles a unique group of individuals with unusual abilities to thwart the invasion and save the Earth.  The characters that John enlists include:  The Dark Prophet, Damon Cancer, and Kryton Moon.
