Ccc@Uic.Edu is the countercurrent chromatography (CCC, HSCCC) and partition chromatography (CPC) portal of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Both the power and beauty of CCC technology evolves from the fact that the analytes are partitioned between two immiscible phases. Only solvents are involved and solid supports are avoided. Thus, irreversible adsorption cannot occur, degradation is minimized, and 100% sample recovery can be achieved.
TheLiquidPhase (TLP) is a community portal dedicated to the proliferation of knowledge and good technique in Countercurrent Chromatography (CCC). It has been organized both to help prospective users learn about the potential that CCC might offer, and to provide a virtual meeting place for discussions among experienced users.
