There is lots of information on the web about gangs. Like information in the print and broadcast media, most "gang information" websites do little more than reinforce existing stereotypes. And to make matters worse, most academics still see gangs as industrial era wild peer groups. Most have not confronted the implications of globalization and the network society on gangs.This page presents links to books and full-text articles available on the web on gangs.
