Use UIC netid email for class
PHY244 communication

Your instructor cannot afford time to send e-mail to students who use commercial
service of e-mail. So if you use "aol.com" or others for reading your
e-mail, you may have lost all e-notes I send to you to your UIC netid
account.

To solve the problem, you can make a small setup procedure on the
UIC icarus machine. Login icarus.uic.edu and type


echo "username@aol.com" > .forward


I assume you understand that the generic address "username@aol.com"
stands for your e-mail address outside uic.
