• The Web Wonk - good design site.
• Yale Web Style Guide - a useful, well-designed site, with the right combination of eye-catchiness and simplicity.

• A Basic HTML Style Guide - good info on readability and consistency.
• Elements of HTML Style - lots of helpful info about how to make a page readable and eye appealing.
• Sizzling HTML Jalfrezi - nicely designed page.

• HTML Bad Style Page - lots of helpful hints, especially on how to write neat code. Includes many links to other sites.
