Native America: webpages
The wide range of websites on the American Indian is well-represented in one sprawling site developed by an American high school teachers, Ms. Oz. Called Native American History and Culture, it includes the accurate and the inaccurate, the sensitive and the boorish. It's an excellent place to start.
Native American tribes are increasingly web-savvy, and many have produced their own webpages. Some are rich in material, others are portals advertising the tribal casinos. The United States Government, and other state and local government agencies, are also presenting their faces on the web. Finally, there are some newspapers that are devoted to Native American affairs, either within an individual tribe, or across tribes.
