great place to begin a journey.

- from the Institute for Global Communications has articles and a very good resource page.
- The
Universal Black Pages
- is committed to representing the "African Diaspora" through a
list of links that cover a lot
of ground, from music to history to education.
- African-American Information
Resources
- has several places to go, and overlaps some with the above lists.
AFRICAN-AMERICAN NETWORKS
- The Drum
- started in 1988 and has since grown to be a strong resource,
with speeches, articles, and
news.
- MelaNet
- is a network intended for the Black businessperson, with news, articles, and business
directories.
- The
Homeboy from Hell
- doesn't really qualify as a network, but it's hard to know
what category he goes in!
- NETNOIR Online
- the "Cybergateway to Afrocentric Culture" -- still under
construction. Will have info. on music, sports, education,
business, etc.
MAGAZINES
- Vibe
- And on the lighter side, Vibe Magazine has a glossy online edition
as well...
