Neighborhoods and NonProfits Network RESOURCES:
African-American

AFRICAN-AMERICAN INDEXES

The Black/African Related Resources Page
at the University of Pennsylvania is really extensive. A great place to begin a journey.

The IGC African-American Directory
from the Institute for Global Communications has articles and a very good resource page.

The Universal Black Pages
is committed to representing the "African Diaspora" through a list of links that cover a lot of ground, from music to history to education.

African-American Information Resources
has several places to go, and overlaps some with the above lists.

AFRICAN-AMERICAN NETWORKS

The Drum
started in 1988 and has since grown to be a strong resource, with speeches, articles, and news.

MelaNet
is a network intended for the Black businessperson, with news, articles, and business directories.

The Homeboy from Hell
doesn't really qualify as a network, but it's hard to know what category he goes in!

NETNOIR Online
the "Cybergateway to Afrocentric Culture" -- still under construction. Will have info. on music, sports, education, business, etc.

MAGAZINES

Vibe
And on the lighter side, Vibe Magazine has a glossy online edition as well...
