The UIC Neighborhoods Initiative Community Partnership Listserv is open to organizations which participate in the UIC Neighborhoods Initiative and to UIC Faculty and Staff wishing to keep in contact with their neighbors in organizations in the Chicago communities of Pilsen and the Near West Side, which are adjacent the university. The purpose of this Listserv is to increase communication and cooperation among faculty and staff of UIC and leaders in our UIC Neighborhood Initiative communities.
A listserv is an electronic mailing list. Once you are a member, you can send mail to everyone on the list by sending messages via the listserv e-mail address. You also receive the e-mail everyone else on the list sends to the list. The list is protected from "spamming," or unsolicited mail from those outside the list, by a UIC computer program which traps the "spams," which so far have been advertisements.

Please identify yourself and your organization, and include your name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail number so we can keep in touch. Sorry, those not in organizations involved in the UIC Neighborhoods Initiative or those not working at UIC will be removed from the list. We apologize in advance, but we are not staffed to handle national or international correspondence on this listserv. Its focus is on Chicago neighborhoods.
