The Pilsen Coalition for Families (PCF) is a three year collaborative effort made up of 15 agencies in the Lower West Side of Chicago.
Community agencies in Pilsen had been working as independent entities with marginal interaction until the Coalition began meeting on a regular basis in August, 1991. This is the first attempt in this community to cooperatively have effective utilization of services and collectively identify and design programs to eliminate the voids which exist.
