Neighborhoods and NonProfits Network

Volunteers Needed for UIC-NNNet!

If you have or are learning Internet computer skills, especially html writing skills, the participating organizations of the UIC Neighbor hoods and NonProfits Network could use your help!

Our participating organizations are community organizations, schools, boys and girls clubs, charities, economic development organizations, and other service organizations in Pilsen and the Near West Side of Chicago.

Each organization has their own particular needs and interests. Some are looking for help using the educational aspects of the Internet with children, some the e-mail and communication aspects, some are looking for assistance in using the Internet for fundraising, others in using it for organizing, and still others want to post important public information through their own World Wide Web site using html. We would like to place at least one volunteer at each one of our participating organizations.

If you are interested in a challenging and worthwhile project, one that will force you to broaden your social and computer horizons, please contact:
