Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the high speed computer network that includes mainframe computers, PC's, LAN's and UNIX workstations. Duties include writing application programs and troubleshooting existing programs, running and monitoring production jobs, providing extensive phone consultation with system users in regards to information and instruction, documenting troubleshooting techniques, coordinating service for our peripheral devices, acting as a liaison between office automation users and our System and Application Programmers. Served as shift supervisor in 24 hour Help desk environment with staff of 15. Experience includes, but is not limited to: Corel and Microsoft suite applications, IBM mainframes, IBM AS400, IBM RS6000s, Solaris workstations, and Convex (HP) supercomputers, Windows 9x and NT environments, TSO, CMS, CICS, JCL, JES2, and MVS.
