What is Hitting

Hitting is when a popper is loosening and tightening his muscles at the arms, neck, chest, and legs( there are other locations but these are the most common). Hitting give your body that pop effect. When a popper is hitting he/she shift from left arm t o right arm on a single or double counts (when your hands at level with your chest or shoulder on the hit).

I'm sure there are many ways to learn how to hit but it comes with practice. Some advice I received from Doc, (California O.G popper with lots of knowledge) practice with weights on your wrists and ankles. This will help you in two ways: 1)It will buil d up the muscles you are using for hitting. 2)If you can keep you arms at chest or shoulder level with weights, you will have no problem keeping it high enough without weights.

There are so many hitting styles: Boogaloo, bopping, puppet, struts, boogie, robotic, freestyle, and the list on on . . .

Information about hitting style will be coming soon. SpaceCapital
