I ran into Playboy Eddie at the b-boy summit 97, below is a short
interview I did with him.
Los Angeles, California popper - Spit some lyrics
Been poppin' since 1979, first toured in 82 with Space Ace Poplockers.
Broke down in 86 with United C4's and came all the way across the chart's
in 1997 reaching you all to heaven. Hoping to be in chicago by August
because that's the way I want to do and think I could rock the hardest.
I want to take it to many places of universal hip hop, even though,
traces but yet along your faces, you could see who you are and what you'll
become in the hip hop world. We don't run, we just get to the places we
need to be, and we are there showing the hip hop world we really
care.
Space Capital - How was poppin' back in the days, in Los
Angeles?
Playboy Eddie - Many hits, much harder
What is your dancing name?
Playboy Eddie, Chris Loyal from the United Street Force.
Did you battle a lot or just entertain?
We were taking hat's, gloves and that's something we would like to
re-establish to get the job done. I don't think battling for pride is
that good, if you don't take something. It's like scalping someone's hair
off man. You got to take something to show that you won. It's all good
though, because you could win it back.
